When does my health insurance terminate if I am terminating employment, working reduced hours, or will be in leave without pay status?

You earn benefits for the next month based on the number of hours you work or are in paid leave status in the current month.  The table below can assist you in determining when your benefits will terminate.  You can also contact Employee Benefits to verify when your coverage will terminate.

Note:  If your FTE is being reduced below .50 FTE, thus losing benefits under PEBB eligibility rules, you may be eligible for continued coverage under the Affordable Care Act based on hours worked during the previous Measurement Period (October-September).  Contact Employee Benefits at (541) 737-2805.  Click here for additional information on the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
