Upon completing the interviewing process, evaluate the candidates’ skills, abilities, knowledge and competencies.
Upon completing the evaluation of the candidates, select the best candidate for the job position and make an offer of employment. The hiring official may make an offer of employment using any appropriate method. Refer to the Student Compensation Plan on the Office of Human Resources website to determine the appropriate pay rate for a job position.

After interviews are completed, the hiring official should contact all unsuccessful applicants. Everyone that was interviewed, but not offered employment, should receive notification, either by phone or mail that the position has been filled.
