Profile Summary: 

Positions in this job profile serve as the chief fiscal and administrative officer of the university and serves as a member of the President's Cabinet. They oversees a division with responsibility for Budgets and Fiscal Planning, Business Affairs, Business Services, Conference Services, Facilities Services, Human Resources, and Public Safety. The position plays a significant role in Athletics, Alumni Affairs, and Foundation financial activities and manages a wide variety of operational and policy issues including budgets, security and safety issues, effective emergency planning, contracting for services, acquiring and providing goods and services, oversight of design and construction with responsibility for adherence to budgetary limitations, risk management, campus sustainability efforts, executing professional service agreements, accounting for OSU expenditures and ensuring policy compliance, cash management, compensation matters, and the lease of real property.
