Benefit elections can only be canceled and/or changed during the year if you experience a Qualified Status Change event (midyear change). If you do not experience a Qualified Status Change event during the year, you will be able to cancel your coverage during the Open Enrollment period with changes taking effect in January.
Exception for Long Term Care (LTC) insurance: UNUM enrollment may be canceled during the year. You must submit a UNUM Long-Term Care Enrollment or Cancelation Form directly to PEBB Member Services for processing. Coverage will end the first of the month following the date of receipt of the signed and dated form.
