Search Advocate Workshops

Search Advocate Foundations Workshop Series

Welcome to the Search Advocate Foundations Workshop Series! All sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom, ensuring you can participate from anywhere. To become a search advocate, you must complete all sessions in the series in sequence. The workshop series is typically offered at least once a month, and our system will automatically register you for all four sessions within the same cohort.  For July, August, and September 2025 we are offering the 16-hour workshop series with the same content in two different formats:

  • a 4-part series with 4 hours per session
  • a 6-part series with 2 1/2 to 3 hours per session

See the schedules below for details.  If you are unable to complete the series within one cohort, please reach out to Anne Gillies, Search Advocate Program Director, at [email protected] for assistance. Priority registration is given to those who can complete all four sessions as part of the same cohort.
