You are receiving this email because you are registered as a Student User of the current Student Jobs @ OSU recruiting system for University student positions.

Oregon State University provides employment opportunities to students to assist them in the enhancement of their educational development and experience; to provide income opportunities as a part of a student’s total financial assistance program; and to create co-curricular experiences by which the student gains valuable work skills.

In support of this endeavor, the administration of student jobs at OSU was transferred to the Office of Human Resources in June 2014.   At that time, the current Symplicity system (Beaver JobNet) was renamed to Student Jobs @ OSU until the transition to OSU’s online recruiting software (OSU Jobs) could be completed.

The transition of university student jobs to OSU’s  applicant online recruiting system OSU Jobs is scheduled to be  completed by December 31, 2014.   What does this mean for you?

  • As of December 16, 2014, you will search and apply for student jobs in OSU’s applicant system at OSU Jobs.  This includes both Federal Work-Study and Non Federal Work-Study positions.
  • Active postings in the current Student Jobs @ OSU system that have end dates that extend beyond December 15, 2014 will be reposted into the OSU Jobs applicant system and will be viewable on December 16, 2014.
  • If you have professional documents (e.g., resumes, cover letters, transcripts) saved within the current Student Jobs @ OSU system, you must save them to an external source before December 31, 2014.  Access to these documents will not be available after this date.
  • Visit the Office of Human Resources’ Student Employment Program webpage for additional information on Student Employment at OSU including instructions on how to search and apply for a job, FAQs, quick reference guide, and other additional resources.
