Lisa moved from Portland to Corvallis in 2002, when she first became a member of the OSU community. After graduating with a degree in Cultural Anthropology in 2007, Lisa spent a few years in the environmental 501(c)3 nonprofit world. Her passion for recruiting volunteers and interns led her to an HR Assistant position at the local natural foods co-op, which introduced her to her forever home in the field of human resources. She next managed the HR department of 2 Towns Ciderhouse, where she oversaw recruitment, training and employee development, compensation and job analysis, employee satisfaction and engagement, company culture, benefits administration, safety and workers compensation, and employment law/compliance.

Lisa returned to campus in 2018 as a Classification and Compensation Officer in the Office of Human Resources and is now very happy to dig deep into the specialized area of class and comp!

Off the clock, Lisa loves to spend as much time as possible outside, whether it be backpacking, day hikes, biking, wildcrafting and more. She’s looking forward to someday owning a small sustainable homestead.
