Profile Summary
Positions in this job profile create and coordinate data for detailed project proposals and plans including goals, resource identification and allocation, project architecture, scope, budget and financial resources utilizing common project management fundamentals. They may provide project support by reviewing and streamlining business processes or technical support for information systems.
Distinguishing Characteristics
The distinguishing characteristics of the Analyst-Bus & Project profile is the responsibility to create, analyze and prepare data for project proposals. Positions integrate this data analysis to provide support and review of business processes.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Assists leadership in formulating and implementing policies surrounding the management of, access to, and use of the proprietary financial systems. 2. Manages projects including setting and adjusting work priorities; acts as liaison between business stakeholders and technology developers; and monitors project status to ensure progress toward completion. 3. Analyzes and provides statistical data and reports on current business processes. 4. Represents management on system improvement requests to ensure new processes meet requirements for efficient and sustainable operations. 5. Provides subject matter expertise and acts as liaison to internal and external stakeholders regarding business operations including grant administration and cyclical critical processing periods 6. Compiles data for requests, special projects, statistics, and analysis. 7. Prepares month end and fiscal year end audits and reporting

Typical Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
