University Human Resources (UHR)
The Office of University Human Resources (UHR) operates within the Division of Finance and Administration (DFA), and follows the guidelines and principles outlined by the DFA. UHR operates within three major groups: HR Strategic Partners; Centers of Expertise; and HR Service Center.

University Ombuds Office
The University Ombuds Office provides informal, independent, impartial, and confidential* conflict management services to all members of the campus community. The Ombuds assist with individual concerns through service and education, and serve as change agents to address group conflict and systemic concerns. It is the goal of the Ombuds to foster a culture of healthy, safe and open dialogue, and to facilitate cooperative problem-resolution.

Office of Insurance & Risk Management Services
The Office of Insurance & Risk Management Services provides services related to risk mitigation, avoidance and transfer through online risk assessment tools, consulting, waivers, and insurance - as well as accident tracking, accident reporting, and Workers' Compensation. We also manage insurance claims processing for the University on over 35 different lines of insurance - including Workers' Compensation, property, auto, and cyber insurance.

Office of Equal Opportunity & Access (EOA)
The Office of Equal Opportunity & Access (EOA) is responsible for overseeing compliance with civil rights and affirmative action laws, regulations, and policies. We provide leadership, guidance, and training in these key areas to ensure equitable and inclusive environments for all Oregon State University community members. EOA serves as the University's Title IX and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)/Section 504 coordinating office.

Office of Institutional Diversity (OID)
The mission of the Office of Institutional Diversity (OID) is to plan, lead and implement, in collaboration with university partners, institutional change actions and initiatives to advance diversity, equity and inclusion throughout all facets of Oregon State University. The work of the office advances more rapid progress towards Oregon State's highest aspirations for inclusive excellence.

Department of Public Safety
The mission of the committed officers, dispatchers, and staff of the Department of Public Safety (DPS) is to enhance the living, learning and working experience at Oregon State University. DPS is committed to cultivating partnerships within the Beaver Nation community that promote a safe and secure campus environment, while supporting the University's pursuit of research and academic excellence. DPS offers a wide range of services, including emergency response, law enforcement investigation, safety escorts, and campus patrols.

Family Resource Center
The Family Resource Center advocates for, and provides quality programming and services to, all OSU families with dependent care needs to support the academic, professional and personal growth and success of the whole person.

Transportation Services (Corvallis Campus)
Transportation Services provides support and services for Corvallis campus commuters, residents, and visitors. Our department operates the Motor Pool, manages campus parking, runs the Beaver Bus campus shuttle, and encourages biking, walking, transit, and carpooling.

Dining Options
Corvallis Campus
Corvallis Campus dining locations are open to all students, faculty, staff and campus visitors.
- Locations accept credit/debit and Orange Cash; most locations also accept cash. OSU ID cardholders can put money on their OSU ID card. There is an automatic 10% discount at campus food locations when you use Orange Cash to pay! Learn more about Orange Cash →

OSU-Cascades Campus
Beaver Dam cafe and the Study Grounds coffee shop are the two dining facilities on our campus. They are both located in Obsidian Hall.

Facilities Services
Facilities Services operates and maintains OSU's built environment to keep it safe, efficient, comfortable, and beautiful.

Recreational Sports
The Department of Recreational Sports provides an extensive and diverse list of sport, fitness, and adventure opportunities to serve the varied recreation preferences and activity interests of the campus community.
Invest in your health and wellbeing and find a community with a Recreational Sports Membership! Get access to Rec Sports facilities, court reservation privileges, check-out recreation equipment, and price reductions on equipment rentals and First Aid/CPR classes.

Faculty Staff Fitness
OSU's Faculty Staff Fitness (FSF) program serves the OSU community of faculty, staff, retirees, GTAs/GRAs, alumni, and their spouses/partners. Faculty Staff Fitness instructors are educated to tailor your needs and give you the very best in programming - for all levels of fitness - at a reasonable cost to you.
We offer a wider variety of programs onsite at the Corvallis campus before/after work and mid-day. We also offer many programs online, in a pre-recorded format, that can be accessed anytime, from anywhere with a connection to the internet!

The Mind Spa
The Mind Spa at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) is a unique sanctuary where you can soothe your mind, body, and spirit.
Explore an experience like no other on campus! Relax privately in this quiet single-user space, unkink that stubborn muscle in the full body massage chair, center yourself in the meditation corner, use guided relaxation software to find calmness, or sit by the therapy light on a rainy day. This service is available to OSU students, faculty, and staff at no charge.

Work Life at OSU aims to support and promote the ongoing development of a workplace culture supportive of personal and family life. We offer a variety of resources and services available to faculty and staff which often extend to spouses/partners and dependents to help balance the many aspects of your life.

The OSU Craft Center (Corvallis Campus)
The OSU Craft Center, located in the Student Experience Center, is a well-equipped, membership-based community arts center with studios and classes in Ceramics, Fiber Arts, Glasswork, Jewelry/Metals, Paper Arts/Printmaking, Photography, and Woodworking.
We support and promote a creative outlets of expression and an enriched experiential learning experience where students and other members of the University community can foster their own creativity. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram!

Sustainability at OSU
Oregon State University has demonstrated sustainability leadership for decades, through natural resources programming, climate change research, experiential learning opportunities, and multiple connections with communities across the State of Oregon. Sustainability at OSU is a collaborative effort between multiple organizations.
Three organizations play a leadership role in integrating sustainability into OSU's mission and operations, each with a different emphasis area: The Sustainability Office, Campus Recycling, and Community Engagement & Leadership (CEL).
