Recruitment Advertising and Outreach Tools

University Human Resources (UHR) offers the following advertising and outreach tools to assist in reaching a broad and diverse applicant pool for external searches. Hiring units are responsible for determining where to advertise, and are responsible for any advertising costs if applicable, beyond what UHR automatically provides.  Internal and non-competitive searches do not require external advertising.

Refer to the Search Committee Chair email from Recruitment for specific outreach and benchmarks associated with your position. The OSU's Recruitment Resource Guide breaks provides detailed guidance to support federal compliance and broaden applicant outreach.

NCM Movie Cinemas - Theatre’s throughout State of Oregon
Cinema campaigns can include onscreen (5-6 movie screens as well as multiple spots on Lobby Entertainment Network.  4 weeks of advertising.  Click the link for Rate sheet and ad specs for pricing and setup.

Albany Pix Theatre
Ads run on the movie screen 30 minutes prior to each showtime. Each ad will have a minimum of 2 impressions per showtime. Our cost is $50 per MONTH, rather than per week or $500 annually. If you design the artwork yourself there is no setup fee.  If you would like our in-house designer to create one the charge a $175 one-time fee.  Contact Rodney Bigner at [email protected]

Darkside Cinema – Downtown Corvallis
The cost is $120 for four weeks. The ad runs in a rotation with others for 10-15 minutes before each show. Each ad displays for ten seconds per rotation. We can guarantee that your ad will run at least three times per show, depending on how many ads are currently in the rotation. We have four screens, and anywhere between 1 and 5 showtimes for each screen each day depending on how busy the day is expected to be (i.e. more showtimes on the weekends).

Artwork Specifications: Ads are projected in WIDESCREEN format as static images.
Aspect ratio: 1920 x 1080 pixels (16:9), Resolution: 72 ppi, save as: JPG or PNG.

Deadline: Artwork must be received and approved 3 days before your intended start date.

Lamar transit advertising
The best way to reach your target audience is with Corvallis’s extensive bus network.  Transit goes where people go!  Artwork should be submitted four weeks prior to campaign start date; or Lamar Transit will design your ads from start to finish with general direction.
