Distinguishing Characteristics
The distinguishing characteristics of the Coordinator-Licensing profile are the responsibilities to manage programming and policy development related to licensure interpretation and guidelines for internal and external stakeholders.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Manages and coordinates licensure programs including development and implementation of processes, policies and external agreements and contracts. 2. Establishes, manages, and maintains internal and external relationships to promote and deliver programs and services. 3. Provides subject matter expertise, including education, training and communication to internal and external stakeholders regarding process and compliance, including federal regulations, state law, and Institutional policy. 4. Manages and provides research, data collection, analysis, review and report creation/generation. 5. Develops and maintains system processes and procedures to ensure timely and effective workflow and document/data storage. 6. May provide program related supervision including plan, assign and approve work; rewards/discipline; respond to grievances; hire/fire (or effectively recommend); prepare and sign performance evaluations/reviews of employees including classified and/or professional faculty

Positions may supervise work of classified employees, including hiring, planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing their productivity.

Typical Requirements
Master’s degree in field relevant to work assigned. Professional certification or licensure required in field relevant to work assigned.
