Distinguishing Characteristics
The distinguishing characteristic of the Coordinator-Student Program profile is the coordination and management of a student service program. Positions manage the overall program including curriculum development, implementation, assessment and outreach. These positions provide subject matter expertise specific to program content. The higher level profile, Administrator 3-Student Services has greater scope of responsibilities and range of impact including supervision of professional faculty and/or classified positions and participation in the development of the overall division strategic vision and budget.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Plans, develops, coordinates, administers and executes curriculum development, execution and assessment for a student program with learning objectives or to enhance a student’s success. 2. Manages the operational processes to support the student focused program including systems management and tracking, data analysis, report generation and budget management. 3. Provides subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to serving on campus committees, guest lectures, delivering activities, and serving as an advisor. 4. Coordinates and executes recruitment, marketing and communication efforts for the student program. 5. Establishes, manages, and maintains internal and external relationships and opportunities to develop and enhance the identification, service, recruitment and retention efforts for the student focused program.

Typical Requirements
Master’s degree in Student Services, or related field. Experience working with population of program participants.
