Profile Summary
Positions in this job profile plan, organize, coordinate, evaluate and participate in a student enrichment service. They plan and monitor performance against department goals and objectives and ensure program results; interact with internal and external department stakeholders.
Distinguishing Characteristics
The Coordinator-Student Service profile is characterized by the individualized expertise required of the position. Positions act as a subject matter expert, coordinating services and programming to support their service. These positions are distinguished from the Administrator 3-Student Servs by the individualized expertise required by the position as compared to the preponderance of responsibilities focused on administrative oversight over employees, budget, and/or operations.
Primary Position Responsibilities
1. Plans, develops, coordinates, administers, executes and assesses a student service function. 2. Manages the processes to support the program including forecasting, budgeting, records and systems management, tracking, analysis, report generation. 3. Provides subject matter expertise to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to serving on campus committees, guest lectures, delivering activities, and serving as an advisor. 4. Establishes, manages, and maintains internal and external relationships and opportunities to develop and enhance the identification and quality of the services provided. 5. Ensures compliance with applicable university policy, state and federal regulations. 6. Develops, and implements policies and practices to ensure efficient and effective workflow.

Problems are highly varied, complex and often non-recurring; require novel and creative approaches to resolution. New concepts and approaches may have to be developed. Decisions have major implications on the management and operations of an area within a department; your job may contribute to important strategy, operations, and business decisions that affect the department. Typical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field. May require certification in area of expertise. Experience working with population of program participants.
