Oregon State University has launched a series of online training modules for faculty and staff. These trainings address the University's commitment to ensure a healthy, supportive and safe environment for all faculty, staff and students.

  • Current faculty and staff (full-time and part-time) should complete training within 60 days of the four-course series’ April 30 launch.
  • Newly hired faculty and staff (with start dates on or after April 30) should complete this required training within 60 days of their respective start dates.

Employees will complete training in the University’s new Bridge Learning Management System (LMS). Each employee’s Bridge My Learning profile (visible upon login) will list required training, and the system will send automatic email reminders related to completion deadlines.

Required Training Focuses on Safety and Well-Being of the University Community

Developed by Oregon State University experts, the new training modules highlight our shared commitment to the University community’s well-being. Required training topics include Ethics, Mandatory Reporting of Child Abuse, Protected Leave and Information Security.

New Learning Management System

This training became available online starting April 30, 2018 on the new Bridge Learning Management System (LMS) for university employees. Bridge will serve as a valuable platform for this and future training needs: The LMS will enable our faculty and staff to complete training from any computer or mobile device.
