1. Contact the Lifecycle team in your HR Service Center to update your legal name in OSU's computer system.

2. After your legal name has been updated in OSU's computer system, email the Retirement team in the Employee Benefits office at [email protected]. In your email, please include:
- Your first name and last name
- Your OSU ID number
- Your previous legal name
- Your new legal name
- What retirement account(s) you need to update
